What does this mean?
I have been runnning the new rom for about 24 hours and can honesly say I do see a difference.
First thing I noticed was the screen, it seems so much brighter and much more clear.
Battery also seems to last a bit longer.
I will not say to much more as I want to use the phone for a week or so to get some real world experince and see how it last while i go through my regular routine at work/life.
Come back in about a week for an update and see what the new update can do.
If you have any experience with android 2.1 feel free to add your thoughts below.
Conclusion
I'm excited and can't wait to play with the update, but I keep thinking that this is still a version behind. Anyways just happy SE came through with 2.1.
So many new apps are coming!!
It has been reported that android just hit 30,000 apps. Yeah i know it's still way behind the iphone, but I do suspect that this number will double by christmas. The way I look at it is you can install an application from bluetooth, usb, download from your phone and more, so it will make other sites pop up as time goes on to sell apps.
Just read an article that even AOL is getting in on the android app business and has developed 2 apps already. ;-) Yeah I know who is still using AOL. L0L
